Everyone has a doctor, a dentist, a financial advisor or an accountant. Well we are firm believers that everyone who owns a vehicle should have an automotive mechanic.
- Someone who knows you by name.
- Someone who is knowledgable.
- Who knows your vehicle.
- And most importantly, knows the service history of the vehicle.
As most of you know, after your home, your vehicle will probably be the second largest investment in your life.
Did you ever sit down and calculate how much your means of transportation costs you annually?
- Between the car payments (if applicable).
- The insurance premiums.
- License and title fees.
- The burden of the soaring cost of fuel.
- And let’s not forget the occasional car wash and air freshener.
How much of your income is really going towards that thing in your garage or driveway? Well whatever you would calculate, don’t forget to factor in the maintenance and repairs bills too.
If you have ever looked over you’re services bills, did you ever get the feeling that you;

- Did you really need that part changed?
- Did you pay for something and wonder if it was really done?
Well That is where we come along. You see we are not trying to reinvent the wheel here… just trying to smooth it out. In other words:

There are so many places to bring your vehicle to get serviced these days. It is up to the consumer to choose and frequent a place they trust and where they feel they are getting pretty good service. Well to your vehicle… pretty good service and proper service are two very different things.
- Would you trust your vehicle to just anybody?
- Wouldn’t you want certified automotive technicians, who are skilled and knowledgeable with experience to look over your investment?
Some you of you regularly forget that your lives are in the hands of the person working on your vehicle. It takes that one panic stop to really appreciate the condition and ability of your brakes. Imagine you’re brakes were not maintained or repaired properly. Or how about your wheels… did you ever wonder what would happen if you lost a wheel because it was not installed properly… At highway speeds it would not be pretty!!
Realize this, just because the person works in a garage/service department, does not mean that they are a licensed automotive service technician. The general public has that huge misconception that quick lube and tire shops employ real mechanics., Well newsflash… most of them do not so that they can stay profitable.
Large chains and automotive manufacturer dealer networks do have a lot of good technicians working in their respective service departments. But the trouble with these are;
- You rarely get to speak directly with the technician. The concern you might be having with your vehicle could get misinterpreted which could lead to misdiagnosing and unnecessary repairs.
- You must go through the service advisor to communicate your concern.
- You must hand over your keys and lose sight of your vehicle.
- When the invoice is ready, you must pay the cashier quickly because you are holding up the line etc…
- And lets not forget the fact the you probably won’t get the same technitian to work on your vehicle consecutively.
